In this art video tutorial, created using my Nikon D7100, I explain step by step how to draw a sunflower. The drawing is created using simple shapes and drawn from the front. I also demonstrate how to make petals look curved and twisted by simply drawing a number ‘8’. With the addition of light and shade, I’ll explain how to make the twisted leaves look very realistic. The video is aimed at beginners, children, students and teachers of children. The video of how to draw a sunflower could also be useful to to schools studying Vincent van Gogh.
