In this art tutorial on how to paint a simple vase or pot I take you through the whole process of painting in acrylic from initial sketch to final painting. I start by showing you how to use your own wrist as a compass to create the curved sides of the pot. Working out where the light is coming from is the next task. How the light effects the tone of the the colours is also explained.
